A Word of Hope

I wanted that picture! It was an amazing view from the 13th floor. I was at a gala in some ritzy Tribeca lounge – and I just had to have it! So I strolled to the window, camera in hand, angled it just right and took the shot!

Upon initial review I was annoyed - I wanted the focus to capture the other side of the raindrop riddled window. I thought what I was hoping for was prettier than what had just been captured. And then THIS HAPPENED, and I was reminded how God often provides the greatest beauty through the lens of a shifted perspective.

Speaking Truth to Power

Healing Has No Statue of Limitation

Pain has a way of taking over every rationale thought! But TRUTH stands tall over every circumstance.

TRUTH declares that healing is a condition; it is ever in process and available in every circumstance. Therefore, whatever ailment is affecting you today my friend - there is healing for you!

Hold fast to the condition of healing - and watch the circumstance of ailment slowly wither away!

When the community is strong - the land is prosperous! Therefore hear this well - No Weapon Formed Against You Shall Prosper!

A Greater Someplace

I wish there was a button I could push
and appear in a place where smiles are permanent,
burdens light;
where the rain and the sun are forever friends,
and animals come in droves to introduce themselves-

I want to exist in the cool of day,
like the type that was in the Garden of Eden
when Adam heard the voice of God’s footsteps,
and harmony did not yet know dyslexia-

I want to run from this wicked world,
where pain resides in the air we breathe,
and suffering is a societal norm

I yearn for purity
And fullness of heart,
in a place where glory is in every step,
and the ground encourages you to go further;

Where life can be seen face to face,
and even the rocks speak from a place of intelligence
Where ease is present
And honor has vigor
And purpose exposes all things superficial
I want to ride the lightning
And surf the rings of Saturn
Vacation in seashores on heavenly beaches
I want to go to a greater place
And witness the glory that so often escapes me

Break Every Chain

It was the middle of the night
I had been dreaming of election
The keynote of a panel meant to get the crowd's attention
My mother in the front row so proud of the reception that her baby boy received
It was a glorious induction

And as I leaned into the mic the voice of God rang out instruction
The authority and power in my voice was a detection
I bubbled in my spirit, feeling proud of my expression
That the very next words would move the crowd at its inception

YOU HAVE GIVEN ME NO VOICE
YOU HAVE CHASED YOUR OWN ERECTIONS
YOU HAVE PLAYED THE HARLOT WHILE YOU MASQERADED MY REFLECTION
YOU'VE LED MY PEOPLE WELL, THOUGH YOU DID IT THROUGH DECEPTION
NEED I MENTION ALL THE TIMES YOU GAVE MY CHILDREN FALSE IMPRESSIONS?

YOU HAVE GIVEN YOURSELF OVER TO THE KING OF ALL DESTRUCTION
YOU'VE FORGOTTEN ALL TOGETHER WHAT I'VE SHOWN AS MY INTENTION
YOU'VE TAKEN ME FOR GRANTED
YOU'VE SQUANDERED MY POSSESSIONS
YOU'VE DONE EVERY IDLE THING YOUR MIND COULD WANT WITH NO EXCEPTION

EVEN NOW AS I SPEAK, YOU HAVE TAKEN THE OFFENSIVE
YOU'VE BOUGHT INTO A LIE THAT SAYS NO ONE ON EARTH CAN QUESTION
NEITHER YOU, OR YOUR MOTIVES, YOUR WAYS OR YOUR SELECTIONS
YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS YOU'VE TAINTED IN THE NAME OF MORE COLLECTIONS. AND HERE YOU COME THAT I SHOULD BREAK YOUR CHAINS
